Roaming Rome

A few holiday snaps from a long December weekend roaming around the most stunning city I’ve been to (Okay, I may not have been to many (I get wave FOMO quickly!) but it really was incredible!). It blew my mind to walk down alleys/stand in the exact spot that the great Roaman emperors stood all those hundreds of years ago (we did have to watch gladiator after visiting the colosseum.  ). It would have been so easy to spend our whole weekend marvelling at Rome's heritage in the Vatican city, but with a hit list in hand and comfy trainers on we explored all of the sights by foot, through the winding streets and hill scopes. I felt that by exploring by foot we really got to see the city... and walk off all of the pizza and gelato (its just too mouth watering-ly good not to eat your body weight in the two). My tip for anyone visiting Rome would be to remember to look up!
